Good managers need to keep cool and be calm and composed during stressful situations. This helps team members remain cool and handle tough situations well. Panic at the managerial level trickles down very fast to the team.<br /><br />Delegate. Managers should be able to identify people in the team to whom they can delegate their work. Along with delegated responsibility, they should also delegate appropriate authority.<br /><br />Protect team. Good managers should always protect their teams whenever required.
